If You Buy A Touch Screen Laptop, You Won’t Be Disappointed
I need to buy a new laptop. Scratch that. I want to buy a new laptop. The one I have is fine. It’s just that I love to shop and buy new things. So last weekend I went looking at laptops. I was surprised to find that many laptops today come with a touch screen.
I’ve used this kind of stuff before, and wasn’t very impressed. I had to use a small computer that I carried around like a shoulder bag. I was doing surveys at a popular amusement park. It was not a very high tech device, and many times it wouldn’t register correctly the data i was inputting. So I thought that touch screen technology was severely limited in it’s accuracy. But much to my surprise, touch screen technology has come a long way. There are many advantages of using today’s touch screen laptops.
First, they save an incredible amount of space. If you set up on a table at Starbucks, for example, you usually don’t have much room for a mouse. And I’m not a big fan of that little square they give you in the middle. So having a touch screen eliminates this problem completely.
Another great reason is that it is much faster. With mouse, you sometimes have to move the cursor just to find where it is, and then go and find the thing that you want to click on. With a touch screen laptop, everything is right in front of you. It is much simpler, and much quicker.
With a touch screen laptop, you can scroll easier as well. It’s much like grabbing and moving a piece of paper. You aren’t restricted to the two dimensional movements that you’d get if you were only using the mouse.
Of course, I spent much more time looking at these machines that I had planned. Once I figure out which brand and model is best to suit my needs, I’ll be buying a laptop with a touch screen.
