In 1991, times were fantastic for Sun Country Airlines in many ways. The hit all time earnings of $10 million in annual revenue. They had twice as many aircraft in their fleet as well as employees. Considering the huge pool of talent and experience, then it’s easy to see why they did so well. They had also secured charter flight services to the Middle East as well as passenger flights to Europe. Not only did they accomplish that for a regional carrier, but they still maintained all commitments to offering the highest degree of service.
By September, 2010, Sun Country Airlines’ plan for bankruptcy reorganization was fully announced and confirmed by all parties involved.
