The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet is the third model in this company’s series of traditional handhelds, and the best so far. It is the first with integrated GPS capabilities and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet is featured with the same sparkling touch-screen 4.13″ display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution we saw in its predecessor. The most exiting upgrade over the former model is the added GPS receiver with preinstalled maps. The Nokia N810 comes with free maps preloaded for users to browse detailed locations, search for street addresses, find various points of interest (POI) as well as nearby Wi-Fi hotspots

The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet is a handheld device for Internet access, messaging, enjoying music and videos, and it is also an GPS navigator. The built-in GPS receiver along with the Wayfinder navigation software makes the product a full-featured in-car navigation system, Wi-Fi connectivity allows fast downloads and uploads, and the large screen makes it ideal for watching videos. The battery is rated for 4 hours of continuous use — with display and Wi-Fi on — and up to 14 days of standby time. It also claims 10 hours of music playback and up to 5 days of online time. This internet tablet uses Maemo , a carefully designed, lightweight Linux distribution that tries to squeeze as much performance as possible into the smallest storage footprint.

The N810 features a highly customizable user interface containing a Mozilla based browser with Ajax and Adobe flash 9, Bluetooth headset support as well as enhanced video and audio features. This Internet tablet PC only weighs about 8 ounces and is only 5 inches wide. The small size of an Internet tablet, such as the Nokia N810, make them a better choice for traveling professionals who don’t want to lug a laptop around on business trips. The Nokia N810 features a highly customizable user interface and contains various novelties such as a Mozilla based browser with Ajax and Adobe flash 9.

Nokia N810The Nokia N810 has a touch screen for 4.13-inch 800×640 (image shown on the left) which can very well read the traditional web pages even with a relatively small screen. Side power, the Nokia N810 has a TI OMAP 2420 processor running at 400mhz and 128meg DDR2 memory in terms of RAM.
