P505-S8950 At-a-Glance: CPU/Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo (2.53 GHz), RAM/Memory: 6 gigabytes, RAM/Memory Cache: 3 MB, Hard Drive: 64 gigabyte Solid State Drive (SSD), Display: 18.4 inches

P505-S8950 Comments: A step up from the X505-Q830, with only one difference. The P505-S8950 features a 2.53 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, including 6 GB of RAM, and a 64 GB Solid State Drive. SSD drives can be found in newer laptops, and is smaller in weight than ordinary drives. They are faster, but usually more expensive than traditional storage drives, but has come down in price over the years.

X205-S9800 Specifications: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo (1.83 GHz), Memory: 2 gigabytes, RAM Cache: 2 MB, HDD: 250 gigabytes, Screen Size: 17 inches

X205-S9800 Facts: Another one with an Core 2 Duo with a less powerful CPU and a normal Hard Drive over the A505-S6999.

With Blu-ray burners and Solid State Drives, it’s no wonder that these Toshiba Laptops are expensive. But keep in mind that even buying a cheaper Toshiba is still high-end. Owning one that is a little expensive can go a long way compared to other brands.
